Cryogenics is a new concept. I have a friend who does that in town. Its not a real popular process. When they freeze your parts in the nitrogen it aligns molecules and makes metal stronger and more durable. My friend has done razor blades and you get 15 shaves instead of 5 out of it. Lots of race car parts go thru this as they are put to the test. I've seen dirt track race car tires froze and then heated to 300 degree's above and its helped the rubber compound hold up better on the track and not wearing out as much.

Once again this process is good but probably not needed in the rebuild of your flathead 6. Its lasted how many years with old technolgy and old style oils? I bet a proper rebuild with todays materials and proper oil changes with good oil your flathead will run another 50 years with no trouble.
