I ran across a place in Fontana, Southern Calif. that has tons of old rims. He has about 8 of the 5 hole Budd nut duals for 9.00-16 tire (Budd 66730, Ord 7355437) I paid $35. These are in pretty good shape, all dated 50's early 60's. These will not fit on the inside due to the brake drum. (I'll check on disk brakes and post in a month or so) They have about 1" more offset than the singles do, so one single and one of these gives about 11" center to center, and the tires will just about kiss sidewalls. You might need a spacer, depending on your tires. He also has about 8 of the Goodyear aluminum dual combat style rims with 3/4" straight holes, as well as about 50 steel dual rims with 3/4" straight holes, requiring longer studs and nuts with washers. I think all of these came off of military trailers with smaller brake drums. He's planning to put images on the web, I'll post when he gets to it. He doesn't have any 5 hole PW or 6 hole PW Budd singles left, but has tons of M715 rims. Contact Carl Atkinson, 909-350-8200 or hubcap-kid@wheels-etc.com
