Advantage + Disadvantage of 68, 4dr?

Hey all,
I have a question about this 1968 Dodge 200?, 4door, 4wd and a small 6 cylinder I believe. My dad liked a picture of one I found and he loved it. Now that I found one and I bought it he said he didnt like it. That it was to much truck and he didnt want me driving friends around. What are the advantages and disadvatages? I am getting another set of 4x4 axels for it, complet setup and an engine. The body is also in great shape but it needs paint. All for around $2k.
