I've owned two Ford, crewcab, 7.3 diesels and been very satisfied with both except the last one had a turbo and was very loud in the cab ('98 model). The other was a '93 with 5 spd, dually and 4:10 rear. This was a bad-ass truck and I'm sorry I sold it. Would haul or pull most anything and got 15-18 mpg depending on what was being done. Now I drive a 460ci gas, crewcab Ford - great truck but mileage sux - 12mpg is a good day.
