I have a 1960 WM300 that I used to drive in these Ozark hills and fire roads, but I am now considering buying a new everyday driver and hauler since my current truck is over 12 years old. I am curious as to what experiences any of you have had between the Fords and Dodges diesel engines, I am looking at a one ton dually with 4-speed,4x4, and diesel engine. What are the available drivetrains options for both models such as axle type, transmissions, transfer case and etc. Thought I could be armed with better info from the forum before going to a dealer and asking idiots a question such as the one posted here. Thanks for the help in advance!!!!
