Brian, I see that Turbo City unit at just under $1100 bucks. Althought I have more electrical experience then most ( I think ) or "some" would be a better word, I just finished rewiring a harness from a magnum 360. I had never done this before but I did not find it difficult. I purchased a Chiltons manual and all info was there.

What I'm leading up to is why not do one on your own? I see the late 80's model NewYorkers in the self serve yards with the TBI units. They are on the fast burn 318 engines and will easily fit your 318. You need the harness, computer, all sensors, and distributor. You could get all this for less than the price of a new carb I'm sure. Most of these used all GM sensors so parts are available.

In the Feb 2001 issue of Mopar Action magazine, there is a very good article which details a home built unit and has lots of good info. Let me know if I can help more.
