EFI out of a late 80's or 90's truck came off a magnum engine. Those are different then the old LA small blocks. Better grab the heads also as I dont think EFI from a Magnum will go on a LA engine.
The Holley pro jection has had mixed results and what I have read it wasnt real good but if theres an altitude issue like some one posted I had thought there was a set of dials that you could adjust things as it ran so it might be a good way to go.
