Should I Ship 78'PW and get 68'PW???

Im looking at a 68' PW 4dr with a step side bed like the airforce retired trucks. It looks ok. It is not 4x4 but can be easly converted. My 78 is not going to smog and I dont have enought time to work on it. I am going to get my registration money back from dmv and take it out to a friends house in Missurie were it can be used. What do you think?
