Off-topic Question about the economy...

I don't know how things are where you live, but here in Arizona, things are... bad.

Thousands of empty homes, empty businesses, entire shopping centers sitting vacant among the cactuses and the palo verde trees. The scenery is beautiful but the economy is ugly.

I've never seen it quite like this - hell, I've never seen it anything like this. I'm in the tourism industry - jeep guide - and these days, that business is flat on its back. Along with a lot of other things.

It makes me sad that old people and kids have to go to MacDonald's or Burger King, and order from the dollar menu, and that's their idea of going out to eat, of having a big time. I feel like the bottom's falling out of things...

Anyone who has any feedback, I'd appreciate your comments.
