OK guys there has been alot of talk about high fuel prices. On our old trucks its the old and trusty Mechanical fuel pump that helps get better fuel MPG. Heres how it goes. The slow and steady vacumm on the fuel tank pulls fuel up to the engine. Its steady calming action relaxes the gas and it atomizes better when it hits the valve, thus giving use better combustion and better MPG. NOW when you use a electric pump its constant vibrating and pulsing action make the fuel very shakey and its not shure where its going. Then when it hits valve its so shaken up that cobustion suffers and MPG suffers. So now you boys know the rest of the story. Have Fun and sleep tight. The Dodge Boys. PS The boys wouldnt say it if it wasnt true!!!!
