Bring your cell phone. Take it easy on the engine, get used to it, and remember it's old. change the oil a lot and check it frequently. I had a '48 with a good running engine and it seized up on me on a trip to town. Didn't seem to be any advance warning. Just seized one of the mains and it was all over. Not like it's going to happen to everyone, but you never know unless you have rebuilt it and know what's up inside. good luck with it. JH
