I wanted to tell everyone how important it is to read all the instructions and to do a little research on products before you use them. This minor little step would have saved me a lot of time and money. I painted my frame on my m-37 about 6 months ago with por-15. I had used it before and have had good luck with it. So I thought if I cleaned the frame down to bare metal that the paint would work even better since it didn't have to go over rust. Unfortunate for me, por needs rust to bond, otherwise it flakes off in HUGE pieces after a few months. The worst part is I also painted my 18 ft flatbed trailer with the same material which did the same thing. So to save someone a headache and money, if you use por-15 make sure to not clean the surface or use their primer first for clean bare metal. Now I have to get back to stripping the frame for new paint again!
