You haven't said how far you're going to haul it, which does make a difference. I'm cheap and dangerous so I might flat-tow it. Everybody say not to, but I take it slow and easy and have not had a problem. But once you start talking about plane tickets (priced them lately?) renting a big truck and possibly damaging it, staying in motels, etc, I can't imagine why that would be cheaper than hiring a pro.
