In the 80s a friend of mine had a chev p/u with a diesel (mitsubishi?) in it. This was GM factory installed. As I remember the truck ran great, got fab mileage and was an excellent work truck. I guess that it was too good a design because it was discontinued. He had the truck for a long time and got good service out of it. I was still using my dodge at the time, but now I have upgraded to a B1-PW.
