I have a '51 B3PW. The right side door lock had a small screw and washer on the end of the lock shaft to hold the lock cylinder in. There is a small hole on the inside of the door to access the screw. I replaced using a 4-40 socket head cap screw (if I remember the size right).
My left side door latch is lacking the square driver mechanism to connect to the lock. I thought about putting a lock in the driver's door; it was a few years ago and my brain has gone numb, so I don't remember why I abandoned the idea.
