I run 7:50-20 NDT's on my 1942 WW2 1.5 ton chevy G506 cargo.

I try and keep the recomemended pressure of 55 or above.

When I bought this truck, all tires were aired up to 20-25 lbs... This is too low.. I found out the hard way after one of the worst front end rattlings I ever been thru in my life! Felt like the truck was coming apart! After checking wear in all front end components, I was at a stump for why I got this death wobble that day... Scared me so much I wasnt driving it until I checked/adjusted/replaced all front end stuff.

Come to find out, running them too low will cause this to happen...there was NOTHING wirn or wrong with my trucks steering or front end ALL along....KEEP THEM AIRED UP
