I had the Carter do this in my plow truck this winter. the carb was rebuilt in the fall, tank drained and cleaned, new fuel filters, it looked like the picture in Feb, When the new gas evaperates in the system, it leaves a resin, that hardens and acts like epoxy.
I llive in NJ, not too far from the shore, the new gas is playing hell with all the bost owners, doing thousands in damages.
