Thanks for the info, Matt. All very interesting and a little suspicious.
If the owner bought the '61 FFPW off this forum, he's not totally uninformed about prices.
Even if he did all the work himself, frame off, powder coating, new bed, paint, etc., etc., it would be tough to do that for $7000. Then he sells the truck for $1,000 less than he has invested in restoring it?
He could have realized a greater gain by donating it to charity assuming he has any signifcant income at all. And, he would be doing more good.
Not that it makes any difference to me. Just curious.
