We gave $1,000 for this CJ2A. Bought it from the grandson of the original owner. Sears and Roebuck top and doors were said to have been installed before they drove it off the lot in 1947. It also ran when parked, but the retro-fitted (empahsis on "retro")Kaiser Supersonic turned out to have a 1/4" of thrust play in the crank shaft. After an engine overhaul, it runs like a top. It also tunred out to be rustier that we originally thought after removing all the junk that was covering up the floorboards.
