Thanks guys for the info. I'm lookin at swapping in a set of Chevy lift springs for it as it's being turned into an offroad truck. Don't worry I didn't tear apart a virgin truck this thing was rusted out and beat to hell so if anything i've given it a second life and saved it from the scrap yard.
