George. Are you working on the 1950 PW? Or another truck. You said you want to move it out of the cab? Anyway, I just installed a tank from an early '90s Chevy pickup in my '46 WDX. Dimensions are 28"x28"x13". It's a 31 gal. tank. I had to move the rear stock tank support back about 6" and used a piece of 1"x2" rectangular tubing for the rear support. I made the support straps out of some 2" strapping. JH
