wouldn't have happened if he was a union employee, Sears would have had to promote him up and out. My neighbors shop burned to the ground when the compressor jumped a belt and the motor ran until it overheated and burned.
After that incident I had a new pump do the same thing, mine was a belair. I put a gates belt on and that was the cure.
