David,here is a simple test.There were 2 different sizes.Yours sounds like the small body used on the light duty trucks.
Take a 12 point 3/4 inch socket and slip it over the input shaft on the steering box.If it is a tight fit you have the large body joint(used on Med duty trucks). If the socket is too big ,you have the small body joint Used on light duty trucks.
There is a small joint on ebay.

If it is the large one,I have the body only(mopar number 2225-337)
other part numbers to rebuild yours if it's the large joint are..

seal 1939-486
bearing 2229-394
spring,anti rattle 2204-143
