Dodge used that same design on the late 80's early 90's trucks before the body style change. Box with a sliding cross. I had to replace them within 6 months as moisture/fertilizer would run down the shaft past the seal and trash the insides quick.
If you do go with this style, do yourself a favor and drill/tap and put a zerk fitting on the non slide running side. I did this on all our trucks an shoot waterproof grease in occasionally and never replaced again. Kevin
