WE looked at that very close. Did a test fit with the seal before install. Used a little crokus cloth on the seal area to clean things up a little. But no marks or croves. This is very strange. Thanks for you time. I thought about using a heaver gear oil. My son does not like the idea, only wants to use what it calls for. This is not the first truck. I had a customer that had Dodge 1500 4wd with the same leak. He sold the truck before having it fixed. I was told by a drive line shop that this is common but had no help. Bill.
