My '71 had a Dodge decal on the tail gate.
I had been looking for a good tailgate to replace the damaged one on my truck.
When my neighbor of 20 years moved, I helped him clean out his garage. I noticed one of the shelves looked different. When I looked, he had been using the tail gate from his fathers old '70 Dodge as a shelf for the past 30 years.
The truck was long gone, but the tail gate was in nearly new condition, and it was the same color as my truck.
He gave me the tail gate.
