Wasn't that standard on the old Chevy 1 ton farm trucks that were so common? I used to know a guy who had lots of '40s Chevy stuff and it seems like that was the usual tire and rim. I can't remember if they were Budd rims or how many lug nuts they had. My impression was that they were considerably lighter than 9.00-20s, but I'm not sure why. I never paid that much attention to Chevy stuff.
