It will run just fine on a vapor withdrawal bottle, maybe not full power at full RPM's but other than that it will run like a top. After it has sat for 20 years, the rubber parts in the regulator are probably dried out and cracked, you will probably be better off to send vapor thru it anyway, it may not run on liquid.
