I look at it like hours more than miles. torque spec is closer to 200 lbs. skidding logs at 3 mph for 7 hours is like driving 700 miles on the hiway with a higher gear ratio. years of sitting is not good either as any metal above the gear oil gets rusty eventually, puts pits in the gears. maybe not in CA though. ;/)
