We had about foot from the last storm, and so far maybe 3 or 4 inches more today. Took the Tucker up to Moon pass and over to Slate Saddle and down Dry Creek, about a 20 mile loop. Most of the way up to the pass I had the throttle wide open, going about 15 mph and it ran fine with no backfiring. I had set the distributor to about midway in its rotation since I have no way to time it properly. All I can figure is it just need to work out the effects of having sat for 4 years. I found a few other bugs and things that needed fixing before I go for any major trip. Also noticed the road is just about too drifted over to fit the sno-cat on, so I don't know what it'll be like after the next storm. Had to cut several logs out, too, but nothing serious.

I got real lucky when I stopped to cut out one log and saw a piece of a track link laying on top of the pontoon. I managed to put it back on before anything got bent or the track came off, but that was pure luck that it happened to come off and land on top of the driver's side front pontoon which is the only one I would have looked at, and didn't fall in the snow. I need to remember to add a few track parts and more cotter pins to the tool box.

At least it looks like all my axle and drive line repairs are holding and the new wiring works well. Will give it a good looking over before I head out again.
