The remnants of last trip's 5 gallons has 'aged' in the tank, adding to it's bouquet.
The best way to keep gas fresh is to keep the tank full. That way, less water comes in when the air in the tank expands and contracts.
But who wants to invest in gasoline futures at $4 per gallon?
