I am though dealing with a Costa Rican shipper, that way I don't have to pay for it until it gets here. They have put me in contact with their agents in Cal.. Again the problem is US Customs as far as exports go and then I gotta deal with Costa Rican customs which I have done before but things have changed it seems, it's all computerized now so monkey business is tuff. Again the clencher is the frame. Apparently parts have to come in as such and frames are vin. numbered vehicles.

Macks are the call here, according to the Ticos they are the tuffest and best suited for the roads and terrain, and best buy for the money. All the mid size are Jap trucks, used to be some Mercedes and Volvos running around but the Macks left em in the dirt.

I actually drove down a B61 dump truck once from texas and sold it, did not come out as well as I was hoping but I came out. The guy that sold it for me to one of his clients has been bringing them down for years, I am going to try and locate him and see if he has any tricks up his sleave.
