Your T shouldn't have a fuel punp at all
The early Ts had the tanl either under the frint or rear seat, dependiing on model.
It was pretty mush a level run from the tank tothe carb. On a long up hill, you would have to turn the car around and back up, so the carb did not starve :-)
The later Ts ( we have a 1926) the tank is in the cowl above your legs.
On cars with the vacuum fuel system. long hills were also a problem, as a long pull would drop the engines vacuum enough as to not pull fuel.
