Look at the contact areas on the ring gear teeth. The contact should be in the middle, not extending to the edges of the teeth. 'Full contact' is pretty worn, and while still strong, could be whiney no matter how carefully set up.

Front and rear pumpkins are the same, but drive opposite, so swapping will give you brand new teeth to load. Except in reverse, where both sets whill whine at above 63 miles per hour. ;)
