That sounds completely plausible.
Most of my rebuilds are with blueprinted high pressure springs, in both Jeeps and Dodges, I haven't heard of any issues with the flat heads. Break in of a new engine is still a concern, but normal day to day running is most likely OK with rated oil, after break-in.
