2000 miles and change , glad I changed the head gasket on the little beast . The check engine light liked to come on while going down hills around 80 miles an hour . I did not have my foot pushing on the gas petal but was letting the motor do some braking .
Carryall content - I picked up some rare GM rear brake calipers from the pick and pull . These are the same calipers that I am running on the Carryall . I did not have the springs and levers . Now I have all the parts and spare calipers too .
The calipers looked almost new , came in at 40 bucks plus taxes . rebuilt ones cost about 350 up this way .
Good trip but I drove 14 hrs yesterday and 9 today . That highway 175 is the most twisty , curvy highway I have ever driven on ,
