No, he said "plus parts". I'm providing the seals. He'll need to buy one valve and maybe a seat, for which I expect to pay extra. Seems like there just aren't many automotive machine shops left. There will be none in our entire county when the semi-retired guy totally retires. Do they replace engines rather than grind valves these days? I remember when you could get a valve grind at a gas station. Otherwise, it seems like a guy could make a real good living at it, especially if he bought out an old guy who was retiring and already had the shop and equipment set up. I'll have $500 into the rice wagon by the time I'm done, and that's with me doing everything but the valve grind. No wonder people just junk their cars and buy a new one when anything goes wrong with the engine.
