Seat Belt Install Question

I'd like to install seat belts in my FFPW. I would like to do it with minimal alteration to the truck while making sure the belts are securely anchored.

Has anybody installed belts other than by drilling holes in the floor and using large washers?

I'm thinking a piece of heavy wall tubing could be stitch welded laterally across the floor between the seat supports. Any other ideas?
