lots of discussion on the 69k wagon. it appears to me that there was enough labor restoration and care to justify the ask price. weld in the dash holes, paint the bed black are valid details for a factory restore. for 69k i would prefer to have the hawaii pw that was overrestored and modified with the baby hemi. that truck was likely over 69k too. i hope the guy gets the money as it doesn't effect my life one iota. its the market. i find it interesting that a guy posts a truck for sale here and contributes the fee to joe and guys start piling on. the market will decide. for the guys saying for 69k you could buy a new pickup or 8 old power wagons or whatever, that is likely true. some guys consider a new pickup a way to get to work and do work but i cannot understand how they compare that purchase to buying old iron. some guys consider spending 100k on a toy a spit in the ocean. the truck on helitool's site was extensively modified for a wealthy guy wanting a power wagon suited to his occasional use. spent a ton of money getting it done right - right being his directive. i believe that some of his project enabled dave and ray to test products and ideas that were later sold to us in kit form. 69k? i hope he gets it. i'm laying low. my command car is nearing completion. i'm going to ignore the first guy who tells me that its overrestored, modified, or incorrect. that's what you get from the 'experts' who usually get in their escort after insulting your efforts.
