The tall style bed in 6 1/2, 7 1/2 and 9 foot lengths on the 2wds started in 1948. The 1948 to 1955 trucks had the angled bed top rails.

Only WDX-WM300 style PWs had 8 foot Utiline beds until late 1965 when the D100, D200 and W200 trucks started using them (though that bed has some slight differences from the WM300 style bed, including lacking the center pocket)

There were beds of the same length but lower from the 1930s up to 1947, with a partial repeat in 1951-53.

Also if comparing beds keep in mind that there is a 1958 and older narrow 6 1/2 foot bed, and a 1959 and newer wide 6 1/2 foot bed. The later one uses the same tailgate as other beds of the same era, but the early one has a unique tailgate.

The 61-71 style Utiline rear fenders were used 53-85 as stated.

Eric
