thinking about it and it might even go back farther than that. I know the 9 foot goes way back into the 30s and the 3/4 tons had a bed inbetween 6.5 and 9 then also. probably 7.5 too. I think first year of utiline with the type of fender used in the 60s 70s and 80s started in 53?
