Like Tom says, the repro ones might not work very well, and they are not cheap. I have been told but are not sure that these are made in China.
If you have an old one that seems to be broken, consider sending it in to a gauge repair place.
In my '52 it had a one wire system sender which has a different design as the two wire your truck has.
I could not get the repro to read correctly. It read about 2/3 when the tank was full, even though I had the arm adjusted correctly. So, I sent it and the old OEM broken one in to the John Wolf company. After testing they told me the repro one was not calibrated correctly for the Dodge truck, and so rather than rewire that one, they put a new winding in my old one and sent it back. The cost this way was less than if they had to rewire the repro one.
The old one then worked like new when I put it in.
So, bottom line is if you have an old one or could get an old (broken) one cheap, it might be best to get it fixed.
