The points were not stuck.
There were no regulator to ground issues.
The battery Voltage was 12.5 volts before starting.
The field voltage was ~8 volts.
The Generator output was ~15 volts.

There were some sparks coming out of the back of the generator, so it could be the brushes wearing back in, or perhaps going bad.

I normally disconnect the battery each time, except one night didn't, and it did not drain the battery.

Will just keep an eye on it when I drive it the next few times.
