A new truck is REALLY expensive compaired to a older used truck but,if the new truck accomplishes what the cheaper,older truck does not,then the new truck is whats needed.
Why would someone want to place a O/D unit in a position that forces so many alterations when little or no alterations is what their after ?
I would like to have O/D for my WM300 as well as the original 251, NP420 tranny, and transfer case in their original positions so all the shift levers stay in their original positions and little or no alterations have occured. Even if the ranger was free, it still would not come close to accomplishing what I want.To have what I want instead of something inferior,I will just have to pay the price.After reviewing ranger's O/D unit, I have to say,Thanks but, no thanks.
