Of the 15 pics I've seen on Peter's website & various Dodge books - all are single. Peter's is a dual, but I'm pretty sure he did the conversion.
The '51 B-3-PW with Wayne body I bought most certainly had factory dual wheels - or a lot of overhang. The wheel wells are super-wide & look like those "tubs" hotrodders weld in. Jerry Blake is trying to get a period pic from the school district showing the bus.
I stopped at VPW in October, be nice to drive back out for the Rally.
