Your not talking about the standard 420 but the one that only goes in the M-37. First are the military and civilian or WM type 420's that much diff.?Are the tranny to bellhousing bolt patterns diff.? I have been referring to the civilian NP420's. If I can get Al to come down with his digital camera,we'll take some pics,get casting #'s and post them.Yea,I toyed with the idea of an adapter plate so as to use the PW bellhousing but you'd have to mill approx. 1/4" to mate a plate made of stiff T-1 plate plus some other stuff to make it safe.I had always wanted to make up a modified WM bellhousing 1" longer like the V-8 BH to use as a pattern for casting a new bellhousing w/ support arms and all.But alas it has been pushed down the priority list until it was so far I've all but given up on the idea.It was to be cast out of alum.
