A little more wire brushing found the missing "1" on the case number. Drain plug is horizontal so as dc noted it's a np420. PTO is on the passenger side. What's suprising is it came out of a 2WD and the bell housing casting is identical to the one on my B1C, except the tranny mounting holes are drilled and tapped in different (wider) locat1ons.
