Has anyone been through Leadville,CO. since 81'? If so, does the fire dept. still have the mint,red w/blk fenders WDX PU PW with the showroom new looking interior ? I asked about it back then but no one would even talk about the truck until one finally said they all wanted that truck and were all waiting it out to try any buy it for themselves. The guy said it had only been used in years past to fight brush fires.It had 1236 original miles on it at that time.There were a couple of beater WDX/WM style PWs in the only junkyard in town,he only wanted $500 ea. at that time. Chances are that someone has already found and bought them but hey, you never know !
