carter o-2378 rebuild kit?

ive been to NAPA, carquest, VIP and noboby even shows a rebuild kit available. they have 2370's 2380's my 77' w200 is military.
is this a special application carb? (the o-2378)?
she's running a little rough stalling occasionally, and shows wetness around the gasketts on the carb. its also been sittin/bad gas etc. i figure a rebuild can't hurt.
also if i decide to put a different carb. carb/intake what are some good applications for a 318 with no emissions?
