That really looks good! I have a lot of areas on the hoods of both of my trucks where the black primer is showing through. The paint on the hoods of these trucks always seems to be the first to go. Even before it gets thin enough to see the primer, they tend to change color quite a bit, to the extent of looking like they came off a different truck. The Dark Green color was really bad for this. I am convinced it was due to the high concentration of heat from the engine compartment plus the relatively flat exposure to the sun.
My local body man friend told me that regular waxing is the best thing I can do to protect what paint I have left.
